New new new new new new!!

Alright, today I have received all the pictures of Japie from our trip to Spain, so as of tomorrow I will better be able to give you a detailed and chronologival account of our encounters with many generations of former Copenhagen (Emdrup) people :)

But... that won't be the only thing! As most of you know I am/have been using the referrer domain www.dutchviking.tk to avoid the loooong Blogspot-address, but that only gives pop-ups etc, so isn't really something I want to continue with anyway.

Fortunately for me I just got possesion (for free!!) of the Danish domain: www.dutchviking.dk with my own server space and all. The thing is that I just started working for an Internet company and as employee I was offered server space and all that... so I leaped at the opportunity of course.

Now, when you go to the site, you will see my pathetic effort to work with a standard template that they offer, and some seriously terrible pictures taken in the glorious summer of 2004.

But, over the next few days/weeks, I hope to - with the help of Jochem and Wordpress - to transfer everything to my new domain. Still, for now I will just continue on Blogspot, or just make a redirect. I haven't quite figured it out yet.

You'll see :)

Anyway...

For now: Greetings from Madrid and Happy New Year, from many generations of Emdrup!

The Return of The Luggage

Finally...

The bastards...

My luggage has arrived after 2 days. And looking at the label it didn't even leave Madrid airport Barajas before yesterday!

So, who's in for the 'I-Hate-Barajas'-fanclub?

And for now: laundry!!!!!!!!!! Wohooooo!!

Honey, I'm hooooome!!

So, back again in Denmark. 12 hours before I landed in Copenhagen again I was still listening to one of the best flamenco guitarists I have ever heard. Amd no idea who the guy is. It was somewhere in a small place, somewhere in a small street in Madrid, where I got the comment "Que tipo de gazpacho eres" from another guitarist, when I told him I was half-Danish half-Dutch.

And now... Just woke up from a 12 hour sleep and still with no luggage after one of the worst airport experiences ever (as of now I will join the VERY large group of people who say they hate Barajas airport in Madrid).
Am waking up with sweet sounds from Paris of a French guy, an Argentinean and a Spanish woman playing tango ("Aires De Tango"), but my head is still spinning from all that happened yesterday. What a crap trip... but ok...

Anyway, I am back to real life now, and will start with doing an inventory of my room. my clothes, my life and my thoughts. Having talked with so many, I got inspired once again, and want to keep that alive as long as possible.

First though, a shower!!

I've got to ask myself though... I still don't know which feeling is prevailing. Either "Maaaaan, I am getting too old for this shit..." or just that energised, sucking up like a sponge all experiences of the last 10 days, hyperactive, travelled, glad-to-have-met-so-many-old-friends-feeling.

I'm pretty sure it will be the last ;)

So, as I also want to finish here with wishing you Happy New Year, I will use some of the most positive lyrics I heard over the last days.
Walking the streets of Madrid this song came up, and I wanted to share it.

Happy New Year and may you have a great year, may all dark clouds vanish quickly, and the sun shine on all you do! Enjoy, dance, laugh and see you soon!!

Diego Torres - Color Esperanza
