3 years! And counting!

Just came back from a birthday. Not the ones I am used to, but little Alma was celebrating her 3rd birthday! (what troubles she had blowing out the 3 candles...hahah!)

Angel, my old Spanish teacher, had been cooking again for hours and hours, and alkl were treated to a lovely summer outdoor blend of Spanish Russian Salad, barbeque and various Spanish and Danish delicacies.
Angels' parents were visiting from Almeria too, so I had my share of practicing 'Andalu' as well... oofffff... it was hard!

I hadn't seen his little girl for quite some time, and was amazed. She still has the darkest eyes, of her Spanish father, but her hair is getting blonder and blonder, just like her mother. When she was born, she still was as Spanish looking as any baby there. She'll grow up to be a gorgeous girl for sure!

Well, I had brought my camera to make a record of the "Onslaught of the 3 Year Olds", since evertone there brought at least 1 or 2 kids of around the same ago too, but... as usual, my batteries were dead!

Ok then, here a picture from her 1st birthday: to get an idea :)

Wanted to take a picture too of the old CBS residence 'Spaniensgade' where the Gypsy King and Rodri used to live (Angel lives on the other side of the street), but maybe it was for the better...

It has almost been torn down completely. For 'renovation' they call it. Only the concrete skeleton is all that is left right now.
When Alvaro comes to visit again in few weeks, I hope he will avoid that area. I can imagine it must hurt for people who have fond memories of the place! It's even worse than what they did to Emdrup...

So, Almita is 3 years old already! How time flies... and how annyoing it was to see me arrive there as the only one not bringing any form of diaper polluters... had a lot of comments on that, hahah!

And now for something completely different!

Now really something to laugh about.

It's always good to start the day (damn, I slept bad this night... too hot...) with a good laugh.

Check this out: Monty Python vs Star Wars.
The most hilarious comedy scene in film history I know mixed with the most iconic film series of the modern era. Respects to whoever made this: too much time on his hands and good knowledge of movies!

"But your arms' cut off...? It's just a scratch..."

I would laugh, if it wasn't so sad...

Everyone's favorite comic duo should remember, that there is always a microphone on somewhere:

Listen and watch this.

A crash course in how to solve world politics (not!!)and how to solve an explosive situation (not!!)...

What morons they are... especially that monkey!

(The text in the article is in Dutch, but the video is what you want)

It was a beautiful day...

...well, evening actually...

Gooooood pizza, (fantastic) olives, rose wine, ron-miel and... some water (yeah, yeah, we had to: Eva was driving)

He had to go 'swimming'

The pizza was 'gooooood shit'

Women and shoes/boots/anything.... *deep sigh*

Now that is what I call a nice smile!

Enjoy your summer, y'all! ;)

3 times' lucky?

*deep breath*

I'm back. Again.

The last few weeks there were many things I'd have loved to write about (ran into a highschool classmate of mine from my little town, here in Copenhagen, just as Holland - Ivory Coast started: she was with her boyfriend visiting ones of his friends who married a Danish girl), but I just didn't get around to it, since I had my 'usual' computer problems... Extremely frustrating.

3 times (!!!!) in 4 weeks I have had to have my computer open more than I wanted and had to spend more money than I cared for. A new powersupply, harddisk and soundcard. And a too much annoyance and frustration.
That was a nice plane ticket to visit some friends, that went down the drain there!

On the good side: I am back on the moment San Fermin has started. Had to think back yesterday to the beginning at 12. The Chupinazo. To all the friends there and the great times they showed me!

Am now listening btw for the 20th time to the new single of Maná: Labios Compartidos. Thanks to the 'wonders of the Internet' available to me a bit earlier than the official release... Brilliant song!

Well, so... more pictures, stories and other things coming up soon. Just let me get started again!

(no more about the World Cup, I have been bored out of my scull many matches now, have hardly managed to finish watching the last many games completely....)
